Cookie Policy

Plavion uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, tracking pixels). This page lists all of them and explains how to change your choice.

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the site to function and need no consent:

• Authentication— Google Firebase keeps you signed in to your account (IndexedDB/localStorage entries and, for Google sign-in, Google’s own cookies).
• Payment — when you open checkout, Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages for fraud prevention.
• Preferences — localStorage entries that remember your cookie choice and in-app state (e.g. whether you have already seen the welcome offer).

2. Advertising & affiliate (only with your consent)

Loaded only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner:

• CJ (Commission Junction) impression pixels — let our travel partners (e.g. Booking.com, Air Serbia) count that their banner was shown, and attribute a commission to us if you later book. Set by cj.com / partner domains.
• GetYourGuide partner script — powers GetYourGuide widgets and attributes bookings made through our links.

If you choose “Essential only”, none of these load. Affiliate links you actively click still take you to the partner site, where that site’s own cookie rules apply.

3. What we don’t use

We currently use no third-party analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel) and we do not show programmatic ads.

4. Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — your choice takes effect immediately:
