Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Plavion website and services at plavion.travel (the “Service”), operated by SIAL CONSULTING d.o.o., Bizeljska cesta 5, 8250 Brežice, Slovenia(“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Plavion is — and what it is not

Plavion is an AI-powered search and comparison tool. When you run a search, our system scans publicly available travel websites and shows you transport options and accommodation options it found, each with a link to the website where the offer is published.

• We are not a travel agency, tour operator, carrier, accommodation provider, booking platform or reseller. We do not sell, book, or broker any travel service and we never take payment for a trip.
• All bookings happen directly on third-party websites (e.g. airlines, bus operators, Booking.com, Airbnb) under their terms, prices and cancellation policies. Your booking contract is with that provider, not with us.
• We do not create travel packages. Transport and accommodation are always shown as separate, independent options.

2. Search results are AI-generated — verify before booking

Results are produced by an AI system reading live web pages at the moment of your search. Travel prices and availability change constantly, and AI systems can make mistakes. Therefore:

• Prices, dates, availability and other details shown in results are estimates without guaranteeand may be outdated, incomplete or inaccurate by the time you open the provider’s website.
• Always verify the final price and conditions on the provider’s website before booking. The price at the provider is the only binding price.
• We do not guarantee that a result is the cheapest available option, or that options exist for every search.

3. Accounts

You need an account (email + password, or Google sign-in) to run searches. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old (18 to make purchases). You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

4. Credits and subscriptions

• Searches consume credits. Credits can be received as a one-time welcome bonus, bought as top-up packs, or received monthly through a subscription. The current credit cost of each search type is always shown in the app before you run it.
• Credits are a prepaid feature of the Service: they are not money, have no cash value, are non-transferable and can only be used inside Plavion. Welcome credits and promotional credits may expire or be adjusted.
• If a search fails for technical reasons, the credits it consumed are automatically refunded to your balance. A search that completes but finds few or no options is not a failed search.
• Repeating an identical recent search may return a cached result at no credit cost.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and credits already granted remain usable. Prices are shown in EUR; payment is processed by Stripe. Promotional first-month discounts apply only within the advertised window and only once per account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, resell, or systematically extract search results or other content;
• use bots or automation to run searches or create accounts;
• attempt to bypass credit accounting, rate limits or security measures;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Affiliate links

Some links on Plavion are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission from the provider at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay and does not influence how results are ranked (results are ranked by price). See our Affiliate Disclosure.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. Third-party names, logos and offers belong to their respective owners; their appearance in results does not imply endorsement or partnership unless stated.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of results, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: decisions you make based on search results; the acts, omissions, prices or services of third-party travel providers; or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g. for intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights).

10. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service, credit pricing or these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email with reasonable notice; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. Credit prices in effect at the time of purchase always apply to that purchase.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer, you additionally keep the mandatory protections and the choice of courts granted by the law of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
